Ryan is the male primary representation of Northern Ireland (nicknamed by residents affectionately as 'Norn Iron', a play on the local accent), situated West of GB and the North of Ireland. Physically he's an older teenager, looking about the age of seventeen to eighteen; Ry is 5'5" tall in height, roughly 70kg heavy (pleasantly plump as he likes to think of himself); sporting stereotypical ginger hair, green eyes and some freckles. It isn't unusual for him to get confused for his southern sibling, until they hear his accent that is. He's a feisty nation with unwavering loyalty for his family, going against what would be thought of him in his slightly rough appearance. Ry is a people's person, loving to club and go to social gatherings, and encourage tourists to visit some of his more famous sites. While he has a rich nightlife of partying and getting drunk, few people take the time to realise he has more to offer than what meets the eye; he is always happy to show what he has to share with others, and loves making people smile. He likes to be unique too, which is why he dumped his Kirkland last name for a last name of his own. He wanted something to show he was neither Ireland nor just another country 'forgotten' in the UK.Born in 1921 after getting ripped from his sibling, Ryan's start to life was troubled from the beginning. His people argued constantly over several decades, mostly because of his people struggling to accept their differences in identity. Tensions had been increasing; it peaked in the late 1960's when Ry was a mid-teen; this was the start of the Troubles, a violent thirty-year long sectarian conflict between those of Irish and British identity, which made him bitter and nervous to anyone and everyone, and scarred his body for every bombing that took place. Now however, he's learning to cope and recover.
